The first snow of 2018! We had a wee totie bit of snow in Edinburgh, I did hope for some more but alas – this was it. Taken yesterday in Bruntsfield links, we can see a dusting of snow atop Arthur’s Seat.

Winter 2017
Winter is here, it was afy cold this weekend. Here are some photos from Portobello Beach (ever walk on frozen sand? its different) and Holyrood Park – Arthur’s Seat and St Margaret’s Loch. Although it was a mere -6° we had nae snow in Auld Reekie this time.

Old Town From Regent Road
today I present to you, the very beautiful view from Regent Road – Obviously not taken today, as it’s awfy dreich… it’s pishin doon!
A great view over the Old Town, the dominant Arthur’s Seat and Salisbury Crags, with the Scottish Parliament peeping out the corner, the New Calton burial ground plus a fair bit more.
