The Innocent Railway, opened in 1831 for the purpose of transporting coal from Dalkeith to Edinburgh. Called the Innocent Railway Path as it was originally horse-drawn in a time where steam dangerous were though of as dangerous.
The first snow of 2018! We had a wee totie bit of snow in Edinburgh, I did hope for some more but alas – this was it. Taken yesterday in Bruntsfield links, we can see a dusting of snow atop Arthur’s Seat.

taken with a iPhone, I am always impressed the quality of photo from these devices.
some, many are actually better than my ‘real’ camera, not yet a DSLR, but I’ll upgrade soon.
Just wish I was more interested way back, as I think my composition/quality has improved
looking back through old photos, I always say/think I could now do so much better.
